FÉMININFÉMININ is a response to ‘Masculin Féminin’ a 1966 film directed by Jean-Luc Godard and Féminin/Féminin a 2014 French Canadian web series about the lives of six lesbians living in Montréal. FÉMININFÉMININ is a space for durational performances exploiting the aesthetics of the Live TV broadcast in the context of a female-centric programme. Pointing with gusto towards modern day issues of gender politics in the context of the media. Works will act both as a live process and a filmed spectacle to be released by LEGROOM after SFTOC 2018. Our array of artists will respond to this year's festival theme 'Sounds Town' - LEGROOM also asked them the question what would an ALL FEMALE Transatlantic town look and feel like? Expect a fleshy mass of hysteria, moments of definite art and self reflection and gazing.
15:30-17:00 - Nightshift International: Afternoon revue
17:30-19:00 - Diana Tap-F: THE BLACK S.C.U.M. MANIFESTO
19:30-21:00 - TV Babies
Come and visit us anytime!
15:30-17:00 +++ Nightshift International artists Elliott Flanagan and Sarah Boulter work with video installation to explore aspiration, budget decadence and modern living.
Contemporary explorations into the ultra feminine and fractured masculinity are discussed by way of TV, fandom, glossy magazines, sportswear, 90’s Europhilia and other latter 20th century iconography.

17:30-19:00 +++ Diana Tap-F is a writer, artist and activist, currently living in London.
Her art is an exploration of emotion and all its different facets. To try and understand how we process emotions, she mixes all the elements together – ink, oil, acrylic, clay – to not only pay homage to mixed emotions, but also to harness them through movement and fluidity, conveying not just movements of emotion but also expression. Her activism informs much of her artwork and writing.
Diana’s long-running blog HOWL features interviews with artists from around the world, including Maya Fuhr, Aliyah Hussain, and Langley Fox-Hemingway, and uses a basic format of questions to get to the heart of what the artists themselves want to convey about their work and process. She has also collaborated with publications such as Nightmare Digital, Banshee Magazine, IMPATV, Portico Library and London Design Festival.

19:30-21:00 +++ TV Babies are a socially engaged art collective interested in exploring staged realities and breaking down the barriers of traditional art environments. Working primarily in film, the collective also uses performance and nonsensical props in order to achieve their tongue in cheek humour.
